Product Design Director

About this role

We are looking for a Product Design Director to lead our design team and shape the future of our SaaS platform. You will define design strategy, build and mentor a world-class design team, and drive end-to-end product experiences that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of product designers across multiple product areas. Define and evolve the design vision, strategy, and roadmap. Partner with Product, Engineering, and leadership to drive business outcomes through design. Establish and maintain design systems, standards, and processes. Champion user-centered design practices across the organization. Present design strategies and rationale to executive stakeholders. Drive design quality through critique, reviews, and hands-on guidance. Recruit and develop top design talent.

Requirements

10+ years of product design experience, with 4+ years in a leadership role. Proven track record shipping complex SaaS products at scale. Deep expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, and visual design. Experience building and managing design teams of 5+. Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and craft excellence. Proficiency with Figma and modern design tools. Experience with design systems at enterprise scale. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software. Background in data-heavy or analytics products. Experience with AI/ML-powered product features. MBA or advanced degree in design, HCI, or related field.
